Chef Sid was born in Mauritius, a small island country in the Indian Ocean. His native country continues to influence his culinary creativity. Chef relocated to Paris, France in the mid 80's to further his training & broaden his  experience. at St. Quentin des Yvelines.  In 1987 he relocated to Naples, Florida, where he spent twenty years working at such prestigious establishments as; The Edgewater Beach Hotel, The Olde Marco Inn, and Eagle Creek Country Club., within the Coral Collection. He has been fortunate to have worked with many outstanding Chefs, Hoteliers, and Restaurateurs, from whom he has gained valuable knowledge and experience. In 2005, Chef Sid and his family relocated to the North Georgia Mountains to accept the position of Executive Chef for Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa, where he enjoyed serving this community through November of 2014. Most recently, it has been an honor for him to serve as Executive Chef and Executive Banquet Chef at Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain Georgia. Chef Sid is excited to be bringing his culinary vision and experience back to our community.
